As they travel from Wales to London for hospital appointments, the family of a kid who was born with a rare disease that left him without one eye and with an ear in the incorrect place has thanked everyone for their support. In November 2024, Bridgend residents Grace Ellis, 25, and Rhys James, 26, gave birth to their son Vinnie in Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen. Vinnie was diagnosed shortly after birth with Goldenhar Syndrome, a rare illness that is thought to impact one in every 3,000 to 5,000 births, most of which are boys. Look below.
