The Dallas Buyers Club star posted pictures of his teenage son’s surf injuries to Instagram, referring to them as his “memorabilia.”
On social media, 14-year-old Levi is seen next to his neon green surfboard. With his back to the camera, the youngster has multiple huge white bandages on his sun-kissed skin. He also has a small patch of pink plaster in the middle of his back.

Levi’s post looked like his father, and followers rushed to the comments area to reply.

Some, like Matthew, chose to ignore the image, while others voiced concerns about it.
“We call em natures tattoo brotha,” one user joked. “This is amazing.”
