George W. Bush Appreciates His New Family Member
George W. Bush is ecstatic about his expanding household. On social media, the 78-year-old former president excitedly announced the birth of his new grandson.
Declaring the Birth
Bush celebrated the birth of his daughter Barbara Pierce Bush and her husband Craig Coyne’s second child on Tuesday, August 6, by sharing a happy photo on Instagram. Just a few days ago, the couple brought their baby son, Edward Finn, into the world. They also have a 2-year-old daughter, Cora Georgia.
A Touching Moment
Barbara and Craig are seen holding their newborn boy in a hospital bed in the heartwarming picture, beaming with joy. Bush stated in his post, “Welcome to the world, Edward Finn Coyne.” Being grandparents once more makes Laura and I very happy. Named after his great-grandfathers, our newest member was born on August 4. Additionally, he congratulated Craig, Barbara, and Cora Georgia, his big sister.
Shares from Jenna Bush Hager Her Happiness
On Monday, August 5, Jenna Bush Hager, Barbara’s twin sister, joyfully shared the news. The co-host of the Today show wrote on Instagram that she was thrilled to be an aunt again. Jenna, forty-two, posted a number of cute pictures, such as one of her nursing baby Edward and another of their mother, Barbara, cradling the infant.
Happiness in the Family
Jenna didn’t give away a lot of information regarding Edward’s birth, but the photos show how happy the family was. Interestingly, Edward was spotted sporting an NYU Langone Health hat, suggesting that Barbara might have given birth to her son at the renowned hospital in New York City.
A Tradition of Happy Announcements
Being grandparents has always been a source of delight for George W. Bush and his wife, Laura. In 2021, Barbara and Craig made a joint announcement to celebrate the birth of their daughter Cora.
Every new member of the Bush family shows how happy they are as they continue to grow.
