When Jupiter’s owners moved out, the once-loved house cat ended up on the streets of San Bernardino. Jupiter found it difficult to adapt to life on the streets because he was accustomed to the security of a cozy home. He tried to live among feral cats for almost four years, which was particularly difficult for a cat who had only known love from his former household.
An Intense Look for Solace
Jupiter even tried breaking into a neighbor’s house because he was so desperate to be a part of a home once more. Jaina, a rescuer from Cats of San Bernardino, became aware of this incident and was devastated to hear about his predicament. Together with her team, she made the decision to save Jupiter and give him the second shot he so well earned.
A Different Position at the Shelter
Jupiter immediately won over hearts at the veterinary hospital after being saved. He recovered quickly, and a week later he was requesting affection. He quickly gained the title of “kitten soother,” using his kind disposition to soothe other hospital animals. Jupiter was a caring and affectionate cat in spite of everything that had happened to him.
