Kind neighbors couldn’t stand to see a gray tabby cat wandering aimlessly while waiting for her humans to return after a family moved away and left her behind. They chose to take her in, providing her with food and a cozy place to stay since they felt terrible for her. Their initial goal was to return her to her owners, but they were unable to find the family. They had no idea that the cat was concealing a significant secret.
An Unexpected Finding
A few weeks later, to check for a microchip, the neighbors took the cat to the veterinarian. The veterinarian made the shocking discovery that the cat was pregnant even though there was no chip! The neighbors were totally unprepared. They contacted Best Friends Felines, a local rescue, for assistance after realizing they couldn’t care for a mother cat and her kittens, especially because they were getting ready to relocate shortly.
Clara and Her Kittens Are Welcome
Best Friends The expectant cat was kindly adopted by felines, who gave her the name Clara. She soon adapted to the caring foster family where they placed her. Now secure and at ease, Clara appeared to flourish indoors. Clara had different plans, even though everyone believed she still had a few weeks left before giving birth. To everyone’s delight, she gave birth to six gorgeous kittens a few days after she got to her foster home.
