Marlin’s not your typical cat.
He’s in a big, fun-loving family and usually hangs out having a blast with his dog siblings.
Marlin thinks he’s a dog, like, for real!
As soon as Marlin became part of this fun-loving family, he was all in on doing everything the dogs were up to.
He’s been keeping an eye on the dogs since he showed up as a little kitten.

He’d sip water from the dog’s bowl, hop in the truck for a beach trip, splash around in the ocean, and even leap onto the boat for some fishing with his humans.
He hangs out in the Outer Banks of North Carolina with his human parents, Caroline Jarvis and Mack Hopkins, who are about to tie the knot.

His four dog siblings are Buxton, Hattie, Shady, and Buoy, and they’ve pretty much shown him the ropes. That’s why he believes he’s a dog!
Marlin just loves chilling with the dogs; he tags along wherever they go and totally acts like their little bro.
Sometimes, he can be just as irritating as a younger sibling!

“He’ll be ‘hunting’ them from across the room, playing hide and seek, chasing after them, and roughhousing all day long,” says Caroline. “It’s quite fun.” “It’s always lively around here.”
