The fact that most cats dislike taking a bath has long been recognized. To put it mildly, that is!
This cat, on the other hand, truly loves her soak time!
Introducing Pym, the Shower Cat!
But then she saw a bunch of kittens that had been rescued from a farm after losing their mom, and when she spotted Pym in the mix, she realized she wasn’t heading home solo.
Katie was completely head over heels.
“I just swung by the shelter that day for kicks.” I totally didn’t plan on getting a pet, but when I saw her, I just couldn’t walk away. Katie mentioned We Love Cats and Kittens.
Pym got really into water after she trailed Katie into the shower one day.
She’s just a curious little kitty, always wanting to know what her human mom is up to.
“She’s basically my shadow; wherever I head, she tags along,” Katie said.

When Katie turned on the shower, Pym just stood there, and unlike most cats, she totally loved it right away.
Ever since that day, whenever Katie hops in the shower, Pym jumps in too!

Right after her shower, Katie gave towel-drying a shot, but she totally wasn’t into it.
She also gave her a shot in a shower cap, a gift from a TikTok fan, but Pym was totally not into it!

Now she has this chill post-shower routine where she stands in front of the blow heater and then wraps herself up in her super cute bathrobe.

Pym loves to hop in the bath, always asking for her favorite thing to do.
She’s got her own bath toys, and you know she has to have a rubber ducky in the mix!

Other than her thing for water, Pym is just like any other cat.
She loves to cuddle, whip up some kitty biscuits with her brother, and get into a bit of mischief.
But above all, she loves hanging out with her human mom.

She’s been hanging out with Katie for nearly 8 years and goes wherever she does, plus she still loves to hop in the shower every day.
Katie totally embraces her quirks and wouldn’t trade them for anything.
