Pittsburgh Steelers legend Le’Veon Bell, who visited three Pro Bowls with the team, supported former President Donald Trump on Friday on social media.
Ahead of former President Trump’s event in Latrobe, Pennsylvania on Saturday, the retired running back uploaded a picture of himself replete with the comment, “on the way to Pittsburgh”. Bell penned in an X post, “Take over the world when I’m on my Donald Trump sh*t,” using a passage from Mac Miller’s “Donald Trump.”
Bell will be attending the demonstration honoring the former president alongside multi-time NFL All-Pro Antonio Brown, a former teammate. Brown, who had a reputation as one of the NFL’s more quirky personalities over his career, has started supporting the former president on X actively.
The great stated earlier this week that he will be speaking at the Latrobe event. “We are thrilled to have you offer comments in the pre-program ahead of President Donald J. Trump’s Rally in Latrobe, PA on Saturday, October 19, 2024,” says an email apparently sent to Brown by the Trump Campaign.
Along with Bell, Brown also said he will be throwing a tailgate party before the Steelers’ primetime game against the New York Jets on Sunday evening. Sponsored in part by Turning Point Action, the event will be oriented on registering voters.
Additionally likely to be in attendance for Sunday’s Steelers-Jets game is Former President Trump. Trump’s second visit to a primetime football game in less than a month will be welcomed; he had a friendly reception at the historic Alabama-Georgia game in Tuscaloosa.
