Logan’s Roadhouse laid off every employee and plans to close 261 sites in a last-ditch effort to remain solvent. Logan’s felt it was better to just pay their employees and lay them off than to try to survive the biggest economic collapse in American history, even though many restaurants have shifted to takeout and delivery. The parent company of Logan’s Roadhouse, which also owns Old Chicago, made the decision to furlough all of its workers and their healthcare benefits at a time when they most needed them.
