Family disputes over a loved one’s possessions are common. Sometimes it becomes so awful that those who are meant to get it might not agree.
A story of her mother and the present she left behind after passing away was shared by a woman.
The woman stated at the outset of her story that she was the one who took care of her ailing mother. “Mom has always been my best friend, so naturally, I was going to support her through this entire situation,” the woman stated.
Her avaricious brother and her aunts, however, only visited when they needed something—typically cash to settle their bills—because she was always there for her mother.
One aunt asked my mom’s “contacts” to help her find a new house as she was gradually deteriorating. since my mother had a real estate company. The woman wrote, “They were so cheeky.”
Her mother tragically died.
The woman suddenly recalled the date of her mother’s will reading. Her brother, her aunts, and her late mother’s lawyer were seated in what appeared to be a Hallmark movie scene.
