Any parent you ask will tell you that it’s hard to raise kids. You will struggle greatly if you have two children, but you may struggle a little if you just have one.
Maybe that’s why a lot of us find it impossible to conceive what having quintuplets might be like. It might be a job simply to keep all the kids in line and monitor their safety.
Jordan Driskell, who also happens to be the father of quintuplets, is the only one who is aware of this. At five years old, the five kids may be quite a handful at times, as you can only imagine.
Five-year-olds are inherently inquisitive, and even for new parents, they can challenge your limits. At that point, he decided to link them to leashes when they were in public so he could keep an eye on them.
He used to push the kids about in a six-seater, but that got challenging as the kids started to get restless. Additionally, it wasn’t the simplest item to move.
The fact that he puts the kids on small leashes now lets them explore their surroundings without getting lost or into trouble.
During the family’s visit to the aquarium, photos were shot and posted online. Additionally, they recorded a video, which quickly gained popularity and amassed over 3 million views.
Hundreds of people were eager to point out that the children were not animals and should not be on leashes when they were seen wandering around on them. He shouldn’t have that many children, according to others, if he is unable of managing them.
He received comments asking why he couldn’t simply teach the kids better or warn them about the dangers of running away. Yes, as if that would work.
Thankfully, some professionals were also able to inform people that a child is not an animal just because they are on a leash. Having a leash is preferable to staying at home, which is the only other option.
The kids will eventually get old enough to communicate with them verbally and appropriately convey the dangers of hiding from them. Until then, neither the kids nor anybody else will suffer from having them on a leash.
