Whether they are drunk, driving too fast, texting or chatting on the phone while driving, or just breaking the law, there are people out there whose careless driving endangers other drivers.
Unfortunately, there is a higher likelihood that these drivers may be involved in deadly accidents.
One family decided that enough was enough of the careless driving and speeding in their neighborhood after their family dog was murdered. They put up a huge banner on their yard, which caused everyone to talk, especially because many people thought it was a threat.
The sign said, “You won’t slow down, so we buried our dog last week.” “Your family might be burying you if you hit one of my children.”
The sign image was quickly published on Facebook and other social media sites after being first uploaded on Reddit.
The tweet quickly attracted a lot of attention and sparked a debate over whether the late dog owners’ contentious sign placement was appropriate.
“I never see why people drive so fast through parking lots or neighborhoods. Really, what’s the reasoning for that? One person left a comment. I adore the sign. People in communities drive far too quickly. Twenty is too quick. Children riding bicycles. It happens when children are playing in their own yard and a ball ends up in the street. What is the cause of this issue? The reason for this is that people are f**king fools. “Easy as pie,” said another user.
“Damn straight! The woman who ran over one of my dogs didn’t even slow down when he escaped. simply ran him over. A toddler might experience the same thing,” said a third.
Those who posted the placard were criticized by others who said they should have taken better care of their dog. They believed that because it was struck by a car, its owners had let it to roam freely instead of keeping it on a leash.
“I have absolutely no sympathy for them. The similar issue exists in my area. Everyone believes that dogs and cats can roam freely in this country. One reader said, “My dogs never leave my property without my consent.”
Don’t let your dog run loose! Another person commented, “You would take better care of your pet if you cared about them.”
Another person wrote, “Speeding is bad, but it’s your responsibility to keep your dog and kids off the street.”
