On an 87-degree day in Atlanta, Georgia, Deputy Earl Hanners received a report regarding a dog left in a box on the side of the road.
The dog was inside the package, which a bystander had found and opened. After placing the dog next to the crate and giving it some water, the stranger dialed 911.
Another police officer answered the call first since Officer Hanners was preoccupied with an automobile collision at the time. But as soon as he was finished, Earl proceeded to assist the dog personally. Beside the box, the dog remained in the same location.
Hanners promised to take the puppy to a veterinarian and instructed the officer to end the animal control call. He took her home and gave her the name Bridget.
Hanners gave the dog time to unwind and recuperate from the heat. He phoned the veterinarian while Bridget drank some water and ate some food.
Earl made the decision to retain her after realizing he couldn’t let her go.
Earl fosters dogs for a local rescue organization called Hounds in Pounds and now has eight rescue Pugs, so Bridget isn’t the only puppy he’s saved.
He made sure Bridget was examined and vaccinated before introducing her to the others.
They are now as content as they can be! They all get along well and form a large, contented family.
At least Bridget is in a loving permanent home, even if no one has been apprehended for leaving her. And it’s all because to Deputy Earl Hanners’ generous heart. 🙂

At the shelter, an 18-year-old blind dog meets her first person and refuses to leave:
She didn’t want it to end this way, even though this elderly Dachshund had undoubtedly seen better days. The 18-year-old blind dog, who was dumped at the shelter, yearned for affection once again. Muneca had lost her vision, her house, and her family. More than anything, she wanted to connect with someone.
She didn’t want to let go when she met her first person at the shelter because of this. When Elaine Seamans, a longtime volunteer, visited Muneca, the 18-year-old blind dog sprang into her arms.
Photographer John Hwang was also present, and it was his image that transformed Muneca’s life. The image was shared on Facebook and attracted the attention of Frosted Faces Foundation, a rescue organization.
After putting Muneca in a foster home, they had her examined by a veterinarian. Suddenly, individuals from all over the world wanted to give a dog that had been so alone in the world a permanent home.
And in the end, Muneca discovered Amy Gann to be the ideal mother. Frosted Faces screened a large number of folks before home-checking them. It turned out to be a match made in heaven, despite their extreme anxiety over choosing the appropriate candidate.
Now, Muneca may live out the remainder of her days with a mother who genuinely cares for her. Amy’s life has been made so much more joyful by the elderly dog, and they both wouldn’t sacrifice their bond for anything.
Adoption tales are usually endearing, but when an elderly dog finds a forever home, it becomes much more memorable.
