Once all the other kittens were back on their paws, little Bambie, being the runt of the litter, was still having a tough time.
The folks at the shelter reached out to Chatons Orphelins Montréal to see if they could lend a hand.
They were totally on board and provided her with all the medical help they could offer.
“She was a bit behind in her growth, and her body was super small compared to her head.”
They put her on some meds for her GI issues, and she started to put on some weight. She got some antibiotics and supplements to help her kick that illness to the curb.

Bambie might be small, but she was a total fighter—never gave up and just kept purring away. “She responded really well to the treatment and began to feel better.”

At eight weeks old, she was still just half the size she should be, but that didn’t hold her back. She was doing all the things that kittens her age are supposed to do.

Bambie took the medication like a champ, and her personality really started to shine.
When she’s not chilling on a cat tree, she’s hanging out on her human’s shoulders, checking out what’s going on around her.

“She enjoys climbing onto shoulders and snuggling in the crook of the neck.”
She’ll sneak into just about every spot but always sticks close to her people.

One of her carers mentioned, “She totally has that cute gremlin vibe with her fuzzy hair and big eyes.”
Bambie totally enjoyed snuggling with her rescuers, but she was all about riding on their shoulders.
“She really loves it when she’s cuddled up with her humans.” She enjoys dozing off under a blanket next to them.

After two months in foster care, she turned into a fluffy, beautiful cat and was all set for her next adventure in life.
Bambie was loved by all the other rescued kittens at the foster home with her.
Two months later, she’s a fluffy, beautiful cat, healthy and all set for whatever life throws her way.

This lovely tabby girl got adopted right away when a family fell in love with her and took her to her new home.
Bambie is totally loving her new life with her forever family, especially all the shoulder rides and snuggles!
