Jennifer Lopez recently paused her signing session after a fan brought up the topic, refusing to respond to inquiries regarding her previous relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Currently being imprisoned at the Metropolitan Detention Centre is Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs. He was taken into custody last month and is charged with a number of serious offenses, such as racketeering and sex trafficking by compulsion, deception, or force. He has continuously refuted these charges.
The public’s curiosity about Diddy’s previous connections has grown as they await his trial in 2025. His relationship with singer Cassie has drawn special notice after a leaked video purports to show him chasing and hitting her in a hallway. His two-year romance with Jennifer Lopez, which ended in 2001, has, nevertheless, also sparked renewed interest from some followers.
Lopez participated in a Q&A session at the Unstoppable showing at the AFI Fest 2024 in Los Angeles over the weekend. Later, when she left the event, she was spotted signing autographs for supporters. A fan can be heard asking her, “Do you have any comments about Diddy and the allegations?” in a video that has gone viral online. According to The Mirror, some fans implore Lopez to stay, but she seems to cease signing autographs at this moment and leaves the area with her security. When asked about her previous relationship with Combs, Lopez did not answer or return the call. Although there are few details available about their brief romance, Lopez’s ex-husband Ojani Noa has stated that Diddy was a factor in their final breakup. Noa revealed in an interview on Despierta América that “distance” and “deception” were major problems in his marriage to Lopez, and he thinks that her time with Combs during the recording of her debut album, On the 6, made them worse.
Noa claimed that Lopez called “several companies to throw [him] out” and “different television networks not to give [him] work” in an effort to blacklist him professionally. He added that she accused him of “having lied” and took legal action against him.
