One couple disagreed with this and chose to assist a Canadian restaurant by covering the cost of each patron’s meal.
To demonstrate their support for the Canadian customers, the couple, Sarah and Bill, generously covered the cost of everyone’s supper.
When the couple arrived at the restaurant, Aileen Ganley-Mutter was present.
“There are about 50 to 60 people in there, so that doesn’t happen, so we were all kind of shocked,” she added.
Customers offered to tip or pay for themselves, but the pair refused, stating that it was “the least” they “could do.”
