Zeyad K., an Egyptian, took up feeding the little calico and made sure she had food each day. Living with five other family members at the time prevented him from bringing the kitten inside.
Even though she was growing larger, her eyes never opened. Zeyad speculated that it could be an eye infection. “I checked inside her eye sockets and found nothing.” Zeyad informed Love Meow, “I realized then that she was totally blind.”
